Update: John Gruber of Daring Fireball strikes again with his wry wit and ability to really rationalize things -- the logo is shite. Just because designers in ivory towers say so, doesn't mean we gotta buy into it. Sure, the mark is different, and unconventional, but that doesn't take away from the ugliness or the fact that lobotomized monkeys somehow time traveled from 1992 and gifted us with the 2012 London Olympic logo!!!
